How have we moved to safeguard the land?
In 2020, we dedicated a production line to Trivalent Chromium to meet the growing demand of environmentally sensitive customers who are eager to preserve the quality and aesthetic elegance to which they are accustomed.
Trivalent Chromium, which is chloride-free, offers excellent corrosion protection, homogeneous thickness distribution and excellent penetration, ensuring high-quality results. Trichrome Ice, free of the harmful effects associated with Hexavalent Chromium, complies with the latest regulatory directives (REACH-SEVESO). It significantly reduces air emissions, as it does not release Chromium aerosols, and contributes to a significant reduction in waste generated, avoiding the need for disposal or containment in special landfills.
We have equipped all our machinery with an efficient vacuum system and are insulated from the outside, allowing for the elimination of any kind of dust or agents harmful to the atmosphere, as well as anti-pollution systems and advanced abatement systems that purify atmospheric emissions and purify wastewater, all of which are constantly monitored by computerized instrumentation.
To complement this effort, we created a dedicated space to place inverters, transforming the continuous energy from the 1492 PV panels installed in 2020 into alternating energy for use, thus contributing in the fight against environmental pollution.
The result?
From the time of installation to date, we have avoided the emission of 650 tons of CO2 and contributed to the planting of more than 19,000 trees.
