Today, however, it is much more than that: technological advances have introduced more sustainable and precise methods, reducing the use of pollutants and allowing new and different materials to be worked on as well.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another major change has been the deepening of the concept of \u201c<strong>customization<\/strong>.\u201d <br\/>Today&#8217;s consumers no longer want ordinary objects, but seek unique pieces with special finishes and exclusive details. <br\/>Electroplating has responded to this need, offering an infinity of options: not only gold and chrome plating, but also matte, satin, brushed and many other finishes. <br\/>This has enabled designers to make unique creations that perfectly meet the increasingly sophisticated tastes of the public.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame-1024x700.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1990\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame-1024x700.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame-300x205.png 300w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame-768x525.png 768w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame-1536x1050.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Trattamento-in-rame.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recent years, another much-discussed topic has been <strong>sustainability<\/strong>. The electroplating industry has responded to this challenge by trying to reduce its environmental impact.   <br\/>Greener technologies have been developed that use recyclable materials and reduce the consumption of natural resources. Companies are increasingly careful to avoid the use of heavy metals, such as hexavalent chromium, and to adopt low-impact solutions.
