{"id":1938,"date":"2025-03-11T07:52:46","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T07:52:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/non-categorizzato\/our-materials\/"},"modified":"2025-03-11T08:01:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T08:01:25","slug":"our-materials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/en\/non-categorizzato\/our-materials\/","title":{"rendered":"Our materials."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the world, there are a variety of ferrous and nonferrous materials.  <br\/>At Gsm, we have plants dedicated to four specific materials that, with care and passion, we have been working on since 1986.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s get to know them better by starting with the two main ones in which, each has a dedicated whole plant located within the company: the Zamak and Brass.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Zamak<\/strong>: Zamak is a zinc alloy with small amounts of aluminum, copper and magnesium. It is prized for its affordability and versatility, and is often used in the production of die-cast components, such as insecticides and toys, although its corrosion resistance is lower than that of brass.<br\/>Its name is derived from its chemical composition: Zama, rooted in the German &#8220;Zamak,&#8221; which is nothing more than the union of the acronyms <strong>Z (Zinc), A (Aluminum), Ma (Magnesium), and K (Copper)<\/strong>.<br\/>As we said before, the entire electroplating department 1 is dedicated to processing this material, making it, for us, very important. <br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690-1024x700.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1925\" style=\"width:680px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690-1024x700.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690-300x205.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690-768x525.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690-1536x1050.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.gsmgalvanica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/1712217033690.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brass<\/strong>: an alloy of copper and zinc, known for its high corrosion resistance and ease of machining.
